The FOUNDATION
What is the Foundation:
The Foundation, an independent non-profit corporation, was started by members of the Rotary Club of Newark to help promote people and community programs that benefit the community with strategic funding. The trustees of the Newark Rotary Foundation Inc. assess each funding application individually to assure their relevance to our core policies. We are here to help promote people and programs that benefit the community, as a whole, with strategic funding.
WORKING TOGETHER TO BUILD A BETTER COMMUNITY!
We are a 501c3 NJ corporation which provides its donators to take some advantage of donating with a tax deduction for their service. All applications are reviewed by the Foundation trustees on their merits, which includes the principals of Rotary's 4-Way Test:
- It it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better Friendship?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
